Refund policy

NEXT Events & Festivals – Refund Policy
(Applicable to All Ticket Holders and Exhibitors)

  1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket, submitting an exhibitor application, making payment, or entering any NEXT Events & Festivals event, you agree to these Terms of Service and the official NEXT Events & Festivals Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not continue with your purchase or participation.

  2. Tickets and Exhibitor Stands
All tickets and exhibitor spaces are issued and managed by NEXT Events (Pty) Ltd for official NEXT Events & Festivals. Each ticket or exhibitor space is valid only for the event, date, and location confirmed at the time of purchase or approval, unless otherwise reallocated by the Organiser.

Entry or participation is subject to venue capacity, safety regulations, and compliance with event rules. The Organiser reserves the right to deny or revoke access without compensation for any form of misconduct, non-compliance, or breach of rules.

  1. Non-Refundable Policy
All sales and exhibitor payments are final. Once confirmed and invoiced, all amounts are payable in full and non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or relocated, your ticket or stand booking remains valid for the new date. At the Organiser’s discretion, your booking may also be moved to another NEXT event of your choice within the same calendar cycle or credited toward a future event.

The Organiser may, but is not obliged to, offer a limited-time transfer or credit if your booking cannot be fulfilled due to operational changes.

  1. Postponements and Event Changes
The Organiser may reschedule, relocate, or adjust the format of any event for operational, safety, legal, or commercial reasons, or due to circumstances beyond its control. These adjustments do not constitute a breach of contract and do not entitle you to a refund.

All programming, layout, and advertised participants are subject to change without notice.

  1. Conduct and Compliance
All attendees and exhibitors must follow staff instructions, safety rules, and venue regulations. The Organiser reserves the right to remove anyone for intoxication, harassment, unsafe behaviour, vandalism, or non-compliance with health and safety protocols.

No unauthorised marketing, flyering, or selling is permitted outside approved exhibitor areas. No camping or overnight stays are allowed on venue grounds unless expressly authorised in writing.

  1. Liability Disclaimer
Attendance and participation are at your own risk. NEXT Events & Festivals, its employees, contractors, and partners accept no responsibility for loss, theft, damage, injury, or illness arising from participation, except where caused by proven gross negligence.

The Organiser is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of income, profit, or opportunity.

  1. Insurance and Responsibility
Exhibitors must maintain adequate insurance for property, stock, and liability throughout the event. Ticket holders are responsible for their own personal belongings at all times.

  2. Media and Promotion
By attending or exhibiting, you consent to photography and filming by the Organiser for use in event promotion and media coverage without charge.

  3. Privacy
Personal information collected during ticket purchase or exhibitor registration is used only for legitimate event purposes in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Your data will not be sold or shared with unrelated third parties.

  4. Force Majeure
The Organiser is not liable for delays, postponements, or cancellations due to circumstances beyond its control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, power failure, venue restrictions, or government actions. In such cases, your booking or ticket will be moved to a future event or credited toward another event within the NEXT portfolio.

  5. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith discussions and, failing resolution, referred to mediation in Cape Town or Johannesburg. If mediation fails, either party may proceed in the High Court of South Africa.
